Loads of progress

Last week I finally managed to get an email sent out to all of Drama Soc by contacting the chairman Roibead O'Mhurchu. We audtioned seven members of DCU drama on thursday and friday and picked 3 for the roles of Mother (Barbara NicDhonnacha), Father (Christopher Carroll) and Buddy character (Shane Byrne). The little girl will be played by Sarah Carr, the daughter of my parents friends. As none of the people we auditioned were suitable for the servant role we auditioned two of our friends, Colin and Simon. We will decide between them tomorrow. We still hope to start filming next week.

I've already got two of the costumes, Sarahs and Barbaras. So far we have spend 21 euro on costumes so we are still well under budget. I had a costume fitting with Sarah earlier today and her skirt needs to be taken up a bit so her mother is taking care of that for me. Christopher said he might have a few suitable things in his own wardrobe too. Shane will be wearing present day clothes so he should be the easiest to dress.

The 3d is going well. Between Dave and myself we have most of downstairs almost finished. Most of our textures so far have been gotten from the internet so we think we will have to design our own wallpaper in photoshop just to give the house our own stamp.

The script is in the final drafts at the moment. There are just one or two kinks to be worked out at the moment. It should be completely finished by tomorrow evening.
